As a 1st Team Performance Analyst-Training you will be a key player in assisting the 1st Team Performance Analysis department in delivering reliable analyses of training which enables the Performance Analysis team to create actionable insights for coaches and players.
Role specific accountabilities:
Capture and analyse all aspects of training and log all training sessions
Create and manage output windows of best practice training databases
Create and maintain a folder structure on opposition matches & Premier League Games
Film and code 1st Team Matches
Provide clips using telestration software of training & matches to illustrate tactical patterns
Work in collaboration with the Performance Analysis team to deliver best practice insights
Role specific knowledge, skills and experience:
Undergraduate degree in Performance Analysis or a related field
Detailed knowledge of football
Experience of the detailed analysis of football training from team and individual perspectives
Experience of producing written and video feedback and reports in engaging formats
Experience to work to tight deadlines
Highly proficient using Hudl Sportscode
Highly proficient using Piero or Studio
Postgraduate degree in Performance Analysis or a related field
Experience of working within a Performance Analysis environment
Proficient with camera recording equipment
Experience of independently delivering performance analysis projects
Experience of asking and answering data related football questions
