FVM IS LOOKING FOR A COORDINATOR FOR THE PROJECT "FOOTBALL CLUB(S) AGAINST RACISM"

The Mittelrhein Football Association (FVM) is looking tofill theposition as soon as possible
Local coordination office in the project "Football club(s) against racism" (m/f/d)
Part-time (20 hours/week) limited until August 2024.
As part of the "Football club(s) against racism" project, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) and implemented by the German Football Association (DFB) and its affiliated state associations in cooperation with the clubs in the 3rd division the FVM together with FC Viktoria Köln 1904 one of four nationwide pilot locations.
The aim of the project is, in close cooperation with the central contact point of the West German Football Association (WDFV) for incidents of violence, discrimination and extremism, to expand the anti-discrimination networks at regional and municipal level over the next three years, prevention and educational work to bundle and promote as well as to establish the complaint management via the contact points and to make it known nationwide.
Your tasks (including):

Implementation of the project "Football club(s) against racism" in cooperation between the FVM and FC Viktoria Köln 1904.
Local support for stakeholder dialogues and exchange formats.
Local accompaniment of a campaign to raise awareness of racism, violence and discrimination in football.
Implementation of educational offers on anti-discrimination topics in the stadium/on the sports field.
Support in developing reporting channels and process chains for dealing with reports of incidents of racism, violence and discrimination.
Implementation of alternative sanctions in cooperation with the sports courts.

Our requirement profile:

Successfully completed studies (sports economics, sports, social or social sciences, sustainability/CSR or similar) or proven equivalent skills and experience.
Experience in project development, ideally in the design and implementation of anti-discrimination measures.
Knowledge of association structures and experience in club or association work
Interest in the topics and requirements of amateur football.
Knowledge of standard EDP software (Office applications).
Hands-on mentality and an independent and sustainable way of working, characterized by analytical thinking and acting.
Good consulting and negotiation skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, which may include weekends and evenings.

The Middle Rhine Football Association is the seventh largest state association in the German Football Association with around 382,000 individual members in around 1,100 clubs.Among other things, it is responsible for organizing the game operations in its association area and sees itself as a service provider for its clubs.The office of the FVM is based in Hennef, and the FVM also has its own sports school there, which also serves as a federal and state performance center for other sports.In total, the FVM employs around 120 people, 28 of them in the office.
The place of work will probably be in Duisburg.The activity requires mobility within North Rhine-Westphalia.A valid driver's license is therefore a prerequisite, and your own vehicle, which can be used for a fee, is desirable.
